There are a number of video players available for Android out there and one of them is MX Player. It is considered as one of the most advanced video players. MX Player is the first Android video player which supports multi-core decoding.
It has many amazing features and one of them is playing network stream.
Apart from playing local files you have saved in your phone’s memory, MX Player can also be used to play the network stream.
This is very easy to do. When you are going to click the video link in the Android web browser, it will automatically launch the MX Player app to play it.
However, if you have set any other app as the default app for the launch by default action of video files, you can manually enter the direct URL of the video in MX Player for network stream.
To do this, you just have to launch the MX Player and click the menu button. From the menu list, tap the “Network Stream” option. Now a pop-up box will appear. Enter the URL of the video in the given field and click OK to start network streaming.
