How to turn on background playback in MX Player?

There is no doubt in fact that, Android phone without MX Player is like a theater without screen. Majority of the users has this amazing app installed in their phones.


How to Turn on background playback in MX Player?

It gets really annoying when you leave the MX Player app window and suddenly video stop working. Now the MX Players allows the background playback option which let you play just the audio part of the video, even when the app is closed or when you are busy in doing some other things. You can follow the steps below to turn ON that feature.

  1. Launch the MX Player.

  2. Head over to the Menu > Settings > Player.

  3. Now scroll down and check the mark button next to the Background play option. You can also select audio playback individually.

    That’s all you need to enable the background playback.

    Now whenever you are going to play audio or video in background, MX Player will push a new sticky notification with basic playback controls from where you can quickly change, forward and stop the audio or video at any time.
